Before dental school, Dr. Ewell worked in a crown and bridge lab under internationally recognized dental educator Dr. Gordon Christensen. It was there that he fell in love with the craft of dentistry — and realized he wanted to care for patients from start to finish.
After earning his B.S. in Microbiology at Utah Valley University, he graduated from UNLV School of Dental Medicine at the top of his class, earning recognition for outstanding achievement in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has cared for patients in the Phoenix Valley since 2017 and continues his education every year.

What gets him out of bed every morning is seeing a patient who hasn’t smiled confidently in years walk out with their head held high. Watching someone who was terrified of the dentist become a friend. And building a patient family whose memories he genuinely cherishes.

Dr. Ewell values time with family above all else. His daughter has been accepted to UNLV School of Dental Medicine, his alma mater — a next chapter in the family’s connection to dentistry.
